Most metal roofers order panels from a factory and hope they fit. We don't. Collins Roofing & Sheet Metal rolls your standing seam panels right on your property — cut to your exact roofline, in one continuous piece from eave to ridge. Fewer seams. Better water shedding. A roof built to outlast your mortgage.

Call (952) 295-4986From Minneapolis and St. Paul out to St. Cloud, Hutchinson, Mankato, Rochester, and the Mississippi River bluffs, Collins Roofing & Sheet Metal has installed metal roofs on homes, lake places, and commercial properties across the region Minnesotans call home. Spring Lake Park is our Twin Cities office — but Southern Minnesota is our neighborhood.
Collins Roofing & Sheet Metal is one of the few metal roofers in the Twin Cities who owns our own roll-forming equipment — and brings it right to your jobsite. Your panels are rolled out in one continuous piece, cut to your roof's exact length, and installed the same day. No trucking damage. No cut-to-length seams you don't need.
Roofing in Minneapolis, St. Paul, and the surrounding metro comes with real challenges: hard winters, ice loads, hail, and driving summer storms. A roof with fewer seams is a roof with fewer places for water and ice to get in.
The Seam 26/24 is our bestselling and most cost-effective standing seam system — with a tall mechanical seam, hand-crimped by our installers and finished with the most fade-resistant paint on the market. Available in 26 gauge standard or 24 gauge premium.
The 138T and 238T are Collins Roofing & Sheet Metal's proprietary premium standing seam systems — engineered with a T-Seam connection, continuous factory-applied butyl cap, and symmetrical panel design that allow individual panels to be removed and reinstalled years down the road if ever needed.
A continuous factory-applied butyl cap creates an exceptionally water-tight seam — rated down to 1/4":12 slopes, the lowest in the industry.
Both sides of every panel are identical — meaning individual panels can be removed and reinstalled years later for service or modifications. Most standing seam systems can't do this.
Specialized clips with built-in offset allow the 138T/238T to be installed directly over existing roofing — creating an air gap that reduces ice dam risk and improves energy efficiency.
"I received quotes from 5 different companies and went with Collins because they exclusively focus on metal. Their quote came in at $38,000 — the others ranged from $57,000 to $85,000. The roof took 3 days. Class IV impact rating got me 25% off my homeowner's insurance every year. Collins Roofing & Sheet Metal is the very best."
"We got 6 bids before choosing Collins for our new metal roof. We liked their experience with metal, competitive prices, and that they cut the material on site. The crew was thoughtful and cleaned up daily. The real test is how things go when there are issues — they communicated clearly and made it right. I would definitely choose them again."
"Last year a storm essentially destroyed our new asphalt roof. We started looking at metal and were concerned about cost — but Collins surprised us with lower pricing than competitors and a quick turnaround. Quick on responses, patient with all our questions. If you want to make a break from asphalt, contact Collins for a bulletproof, hailproof roof."
